Francis Kennels Dog and Pet Boarding, Transport, and Grooming

We here at Francis Kennels recently lost a good friend. While other pets have passed over the years, this one was very sudden making the passing especially hard to take.

Goldie was a Golden Retriever we had known since he was a puppy. As he grew up, (weighing in at approximately 100 lbs) we played with him non-stop and we would still scratch his belly before we would walk him. That was his favorite thing! Goldie always had a smile in his eyes and was licking our groomers faces the day he left the kennel.

Francis Kennels is a family owned and operated, 42 run kennel, that opened in 2002. The Grech family has always loved animals, currently owning four dogs and several cats. They have years of experience handling both large and small animals. Here at Francis Kennels, we truly believe that loving care and a lot of attention can overcome the most nervous of animals during their stay. We try to make every pet comfortable, and every stay as fun as possible. We recognize how important your pets are to you and your family. When you travel, they are SAFE AND SECURE with us.  **Steve recently obtained certification as an Advanced Certified Pet Care Technician through the ABKA.     Each run is private with a sound deadening partition between them. The runs come in varying sizes to fit the size of your pet. There are suites available for those two or three family pets that do better together. A Small Animal room is available for cats and small dogs.
    Additional services are offered such as, pet grooming and dog obedience and agility training, both, from highly skilled staff members. See our grooming and dog obedience pages for more information.

   Pond Swimming for your dog. Click here to see picture. For a small fee, your dog can swim in our pond during his/ her stay with us. Call our office for details.

*Effective immediately!!!! Francis Kennels can no longer accept owner's dog beds/bedding items when you board your pet. We have an extensive supply of fleece, comforters and other bedding. Not only for sanitary reasons, this is also so we can spend more time with your animal and less time doing laundry. Thank you for your understanding. Toys, food and treats are always welcome!*

Reservation Cancellation Policy: A two (business) day notice, or more, is required to cancel your reservation prior to the drop off date. Example: If reservation is for May 1st to drop off, you must call before 8 AM on April 28th. If less than two days notice of cancellation, or a no show occurs, a $25 fee will be charged. (Credit Card will be required when reservation is made.)
