Our professional grooming staff can always be counted on to style your dog, whether they are staying with us, or only visiting for the day! Grooming includes bathing and trimming the coat to the breed standard or your own specifications. We will NOT shave down your pet unless you ask us to do so. Charges may vary depending on the work involved. See Fee chart below. Medicated shampoos and moisturizing treatments are available upon request. Groom Tip- provided by Jenny, our Master Pet Groomer Always brush your pet before their bath. Washing your pet with mats/tangles only sets in the tangle and will make it hard to brush out after the bath. Seasonal Tip- provided by Jenny, our Master Pet Groomer In addition to flea and tick treating your pet reguarly, having your pet bathed and groomed routinely keeps your pet clean and lowers their risk of "hosting" unwanted pests. Fleas and ticks love dirty pets. Francis Kennels believes in giving back. After enjoying success for the past five years, Francis Kennels wants to share the talents of its two very experienced pet stylists. Erin McGinley and Jennifer Halladay will donate their time and expertise to the Greene County Animal Control. When a rescued animal comes to GCAC, all is done to make sure the animal is ready for adoption. Jennifer and Erin add the finishing touches. They bathe, trim, and generally give the animal a day at the spa which Francis Kennels customers enjoy six days a week. These rescued animals are going to a new home, they deserve an extreme makeover to start their new lives. Our Groomers are available Monday thru Saturday.
